Level 3 is an advancement on the Level 2 qualification. You will need to complete your Level 2 Introduction to Hydrogen Safety Practices before progressing to Level 3 if you do not experience or grounded prior knowledge,
Hydrogen Safe offers the UK’s first Ofqual registered hydrogen qualification.
The training can be delivered independently or as an additional ‘credit’ to other training provision or professional development plan within an education environment or business.
It is inclusive and flexible to encourage as many people as possible to equip themselves with the skills they will need to work in the green energy sector.
The Level 3 course is split into two units.
Unit 1: Hydrogen Fundamentals
Unit 2: Hydrogen Safety
Am I suitable for this course?
This course is suitable for professionals, educators, staff or apprentices with experience related to industry or an intermediate level of prior knowledge.
What will I learn?
Upon completion of the Level 3 Award, you will have a greater and more detailed understanding about hydrogen fundamentals. Level 3 develops upon Level 2, and provides enhanced detail to topics including, but not limited to, fuel cells, safe refuelling practice, hydrogen production methods and safe working practices when working with hydrogen. You will also leave with increased knowledge about current UK policies related to hydrogen and local, regional and international projects
What are the entry requirements?
You must either complete your Level 2 Introduction to Hydrogen Safety Practices with us, prior to completion of this course OR provide recognised prior learning (RPL*) through a record of relevant and adequate experience in a related field/industry or be an academic with grounded prior knowledge.*

5 days of guided study with a specialist training instructor. You will need to spend time self-studying/revising for the assessment.
Assessment
One final, end of course assessment consisting of both multiple choice and written/open end questions.
